Social Innovation Game
We are working with the Social Innovation Generation (SiG) group at the University of Waterloo to develop a new game for influencing social innovation. SiG anticipate engineers, politicians and other professionals will arrive for two-day decision-making workshops. In the SI Lab, they will engage with the game to get a better understanding of a specified problem (such as food system challenges), simulate scenarios in real time to test ideas and understand the implication of decisions, as well as modify the parameters of the game to do sensitivity analysis and explore alternatives. The end result of these workshops using the game and other simulations will be a set of recommendations for catalyzing cultural, economic or policy change to solve a problem.
